Presently advising the board and also leading the group's initiative on renewable energy especially in India.
Retired as International Director of India's Leading Consultants- DASTURCO- in-charge of their North/South American operations with Headquarters on New York after heading the Mumbai office of DASTUR & CO. for 9 years – 1969-1978
Over 56 years of Indian and International Experience in design, engineering, and management of projects in diverse fields (primarily metallurgical) integrated steel plants, mini mills, alloy / stainless steel units, cobalt / nickel foundries, ferroalloy (ferrochrome, ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, silico manganese) and others such as graphite electrode unit, Super Alloys Plant, Nuclear Fuel Complex, Uranium Oxide plant, Illmenite & Rutile Project (With PLASMA SMELTING) and Power Projects in the Renewable Energy field.
Have good connections with leading industrial houses in India.
Worked for 2 years with Atkins, Hatch & associates in Hamilton/ Toronto in 1962-1964 on the expansion of STELCO, Hamilton, Ontario.
Has done extensive R & D work in the manufacture of low cost Solar Grade Silicon through the combined pyrometallurgical-cum-chemical foute.
Presently engaged as Consultant on projects such as :
1) Solar Thermal Project (CSP) -50 mw capacity in India -$ 150 million.
2) Photovoltaic (PV) Plants (both off-grid and on-grid)
Advising an engineering college in India on setting up an under graduate curriculum on Nuclear Engineering with some leading Nuclear Scientists of India and Western Ontario University of Canada
